This room contains a large part of the gun collection once on display at Long Lake's landmark restaurant, The Buckhorn. They were donated to the museum by Kipp Hale, founder of the Buckhorn and dedicated WHCPA board member. The gun collection includes the pistol carried by Charles Wolsfeld during his service in the Civil War. His farm property is now a Medina DNR preserve called Wolsfeld Woods. The room contains many of Hale's other Old West artifacts, including saddles, chaps and spurs. There is also a native American cabinet, animal trophies, a bear pelt, a bank exhibit, and a general store complete with mannequin to take your order, sir.
