In the hallway at the top of the stairs you are greeted by a friendly mannequin in elegant period costume. Each room on the second floor features several categories of exhibits. Most of the artifacts on display have a connection to local history. They are not merely antiques. They are heirlooms donated by local families into the care of WHCPA. There is also an antique camera collection in the hallway itself, plus an 1800 American flag, doll house miniatures, and old maps and paintings. And don't forget the bell from Long Lake's original 1880 frame school. You can hear it ring!
